The Great 2018 for Marvel

Avengers Infinity War, Black Panther, Spiderman Into the Spider-Verse, Venom, Deadpool 2 and Ant-Man and the Wasp were the Marvel films this year and did not disappoint their fans.

Fans are very satisfied with the film adaptations of their favorite superheroes and the success at the box office proves it. Although perfection does not exist and is usually subjective, these movies received good critics and love of their fans. Let’s talk about them.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

This sequel was not so expected, but that did not mean it would not fulfill its purpose. The film introduced us to the old duo of the Avengers in the comics and it was something magical. The chemistry between the actors and those peculiar scenes of action delighted the public. While the villains were not memorable and the plot at some point was confused, this comedy again captivated everyone who liked his predecessor.

 

Deadpool 2

The irreverent Wade Wilson returned to give us a taste of the X-Force and a better connection with the X-Men. In this sequel, we could see a bit of drama, the comedy that only this character can do and the dose of violence expected by the fans. The success allowed Once Upon Deadpool to return for the month of December, but this time for a good cause or as Wade would say…Also Money and also Disney.

 

Venom

We are Venom! Tom Hardy did a wonderful job and convinced us of this version of the character that is very different from that of the comics. The effects and the comedy were a success. Many doubted about the absence of Spiderman, but this movie proved that he could do without him.

 

Spiderman Into the Spider-Verse

Considered the best movie made of this character and his universe. This movie allowed us to see how you can introduce six characters in a movie and not lose coherence in the plot. Without a doubt, one of the best this year.

Black Panther

Nominated to the Golden Globes and SAG and with the possibility of an Oscar nomination, this film is one of the best of Marvel Studios. This film is not just a story of origin for the character, it shows us conflict in a nation not very far from reality. A work worth seeing.

Avengers Infinity War

One of the highest success of this year. Describe the emotions that caused in all theaters and even today is a bit overwhelming. This movie showed that heroes do not always win and that failure does not mean that everything is lost. After 10 years, Marvel has been able to show what they had been preparing and we still have more to do with Avengers End Game, the most anticipated continuation for 2019.
