Marvel Nominated in the Screen Actors Guild Awards

Marvel Movies are Nominated for the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

This year, Marvel Studios has achieved great success at the box office with films like Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. It is not a secret that Kevin Feige has been King Midas of this Marvel Cinematographic Universe (MCU) and part of the success is also due to the great interpretations of those iconic characters that have shown us emotions and memorable scenes through these films. Now it is the time for nominations for important awards.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards have taken into account three Marvel films and these have been the nominations:

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture:

Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther
Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu
Winston Duke as M’Baku.
Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.
Danai Gurira as Okoye.

In the past, films such as Iron Man (2008), Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange (2016) were nominated but failed to win the prestigious award. However, the perception of movies with themes of superheroes has changed and these have shown that they can tell the story of these beings with a more humane and realistic touch.
